What our clients say
"I would like to express gratitude for assisting me with a running injury. I came in experiencing a lot of pain and the physio made a very accurate diagnosis and gave me an exercise programme to take away, an acupuncture session and advice on managing the healing process. When I walked out of that session the pain had lessened and the healing continued. Two weeks later I am now without pain and able to pursue my sport. Highly recommended."
"Thank you for all you did to make me feel so much better – I haven’t felt so good for years! It has given me so much freedom – I just hope it lasts, and I will be very careful not to damage my back again."
"From taking at least 6-10 painkillers per day, not being able to stand long enough to do the washing up, and now being able to do all things on maybe 2 or 3 painkillers a week… miracle workers. I could not recommend highly enough."
Physiotherapy helps to restore movement and function when these have been affected by injury, illness or disability. Through the use of advice, manual therapy, exercise and physical activity information, physiotherapists help people to manage pain levels and maintain health. We see human movement as central to the health and well-being of individuals and use these techniques to achieve this as fully as possible.
Who is it for?
Young and Old
Physiotherapy can be used to help manage conditions in children and the elderly alike by providing reassurance, education and advice, exercise prescription and hands-on treatment.
People who spend a lot of time doing the same activities can be prone to injury. Advice and treatment from a physiotherapist can help you to reduce the pain of strains and sprains and get you back to optimum performance quickly.
Following knee or hip replacements, as well as spinal surgery or rotator cuff repairs, our physiotherapists can provide you with reassurance and advice, plus a personalised rehabilitation plan to help get your strength and mobility back.
Following falls or fractures, physiotherapy can help you to rebuild strength and improve the function of the injured bones, muscles and joints.
Our physiotherapists treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions. Please contact us if you’re not sure if we can help. The most common complaints we treat are:
• Acute sports injuries
• Back pain
• Neck pain
• Shoulder conditions: tendinopathies or frozen shoulder
• Tennis elbow/Golfers elbow
• Pelvic girdle pain
• Hip pain/bursitis
• Knee and ankle pain
• Achilles tendinitis
• Plantar fasciitis
When you see a physiotherapist for the first time they will ask you about your past medical history, assess your presenting complaint and give you advice. The core skills used by our physiotherapists include manual therapy, acupuncture, myofascial trigger point therapy, soft tissue massage, therapeutic exercise prescription and the application of electrophysical modalities such as ultrasound and laser therapy. They can also provide Shockwave therapy - please see separate Shockwave section for more information and pricing on this.
